Women's Tennis Continues Play at UVa Invitational

CHARLOTTESVILLE The Virginia women’s tennis team continued play Saturday on the second day of the inaugural UVa Women’s Fall Invitational at the Snyder Tennis Center.
On Saturday, the Cavaliers had a singles win by Amanda Rales (Bethesda Md.). Rales defeated No. 77 Ana Zubori of South Carolina, 6-4, 2-6, 6-4, for her first ranked win of te year.
In doubles, the team of Lindsey Pereira (Arlington, Texas) and Maggie Yahner (Las Vegas, Nev.) won for the second consecutive day, defeating Suzie Mansour and Natasa Vuckovic of South Carolina 9-7.
Play will conclude on Sunday, starting at 9 a.m. Admission is free.
