RETURNING AND NEW SEASON TICKET HOLDERS
Whether you held season football tickets in 2007 or are applying as a new season ticket holder, the 2008 season marks the beginning of a new seating policy at Scott Stadium. An overview of the policy and description of how the plan will work follows. Any ticket buyer may order whatever quantity of tickets he/she desires, even though, for seating purposes, maximum quantities of tickets are associated with particular levels of donations to the Virginia Athletics Foundation. In any case, please keep in mind that to receive maximum season ticket consideration, your application should be submitted by the priority deadline of April 4.

SEASON TICKET SEATING POLICY
Policy overview/rationale
The 2008 Virginia football season will mark the beginning of a new seating (and parking) policy at Scott Stadium. Season tickets will be selected or assigned based first on donors’ annual contributions to the Virginia Athletics Foundation and their overall priority points, and second, to non-donors based on their longevity as season ticket holders (up to 20 years).
The new policy was designed to create a more equitable process for assigning tickets and to allow for the continued growth and success of the Athletics Department. The policy will allow donors to improve their seat location based on annual contribution level and overall priority.
Gifts to the Virginia Athletics Foundation play a vital role in the funding of the Athletics Department, which receives no financial assistance from the Commonwealth of Virginia or the University and, therefore, must generate its own operating revenue.
How the Priority Seating Policy will work
1. FOR PRIORITY PURPOSES, VIRGINIA ATHLETICS FOUNDATION PLEDGES ARE DUE MARCH 31, WHILE SEASON TICKET ORDERS ARE DUE APRIL 4.
2. Seat locations will be assigned based on giving level and Group (see below for chart) and overall priority within a Group.
Group Detail:
Donors and season ticket holders will be divided into one of four groups, based on their 2008 Annual Campaign giving level. Donors in Groups B, C and D may increase their annual gift to the V Club level or above by March 31, 2008 to ensure retention of their current seats.

DONORS IN GROUP A will have the opportunity to retain their seats from the previous year or select new seats based on their overall priority ranking within Group A.
Seat selections will begin on May 1.
DONORS IN GROUP B will have the opportunity to select their seats based on their overall priority ranking within Group B. Seat selections will follow Group A.
DONORS IN GROUP C will have their seats assigned based on their overall ranking within Group C. Special requests and preferences should be indicated on the ticket application. A minimum contribution of $100 will place a donor in Group C and can enhance the donor’s seat location.
DONORS/SEASON TICKET HOLDERS IN GROUP D will have their seats assigned based on the number of consecutive years of season ticket purchase (up to 20). If their 2007 seat location is available, the same seats can be assigned by marking the appropriate preference on the ticket application. A minimum contribution of $100 will place a donor in Group C and can enhance the donor’s seat location.

Individuals in Groups A, B, or C may order tickets in addition to the maximum number they qualify for based on their giving level. The first 8 additional season tickets requested will be assigned before Group D. All others if available will be assigned after Group D. For example, a $1,250 donor (qualifies for 4 priority seats) wanting to purchase 12 total tickets would have 4 assigned on his priority points with Group C and the other 8 assigned separately before Group D assignments begin.
Also, individuals in Groups A, B, or C desiring to have up to 8 additional seats above and beyond their qualified quantity of priority seats combined, for seating purposes, with their priority seats would be seated before Group D. For example, a $1,250 donor (qualifies for 4 priority seats) wanting to purchase 8 additional seats and have all 12 together would sacrifice being seated in Group C on his priority, but would be seated at the beginning of Group D.

FACULTY/STAFF SEATING
Full-time UVa faculty/staff for the 2008 academic year are eligible to purchase two (2) season tickets at the discounted faculty/staff rate.
Faculty/staff who are also donors to VAF at the $100 or above level will be seated under the priority seating plan, with their gift level determining their Group (A,B, or C) designation. Regardless of the section in which their seats are assigned/selected, these faculty/staff are also eligible to receive the discount for two season tickets.
Sections 112, 514, 515, 525 and 526 are the designated faculty/staff sections for those faculty/staff who are non donors or VAF donors at the Contributor Club Level (less than $100). Assignments in these sections will be made first to faculty/staff who are VAF donors and, secondly, by the individual’s longevity as a season ticket holder (up to 20 years).
YOUTH SEASON TICKETS
`Hoos on the Hill tickets are available for youth ages 18 and under. `Hoos on the Hill are general admission season tickets on the grassy north hillside and include all seven (7) games on the home schedule. Quantities are limited.
PARKING
Similar to the groups utilized for seat assignment purposes, the following describes how Group designations will be used in making parking assignments for the Virginia Athletics Foundation lots which are located in close proximity to Scott Stadium. (See parking map by clicking here.)
DONORS IN GROUP A will have the opportunity to retain their parking location from the previous year or select a new location based on their overall priority ranking within Group A. Parking space selections will begin on May 1 and will coincide with seat-selection times.
DONORS IN GROUP B will have the opportunity to select a parking location based on their overall priority ranking within Group B. If your 2007 parking space is still available at the time of your selection, you may select the same parking space.
DONORS IN GROUP C who make a pledge of at least $1,250 are eligible to apply for a reserved parking space in one of the Virginia Athletics Foundation lots. All spaces will be assigned in priority point order. In the event that demand exceeds supply, priority points will determine who receives a reserved parking space.
Additional parking options
Donors and non-donors may pre-order a parking space in one of the general admission parking garages. Requests for parking passes at the Emmet / Ivy garage, Hospital garage, Water Street garage, and Market Street garage will be accepted in early May as part of a separate application process. A contribution to the Virginia Athletics Foundation is not required to park in these areas. Parking at University Hall, Fontaine Research Park, and John Paul Jones Arena will remain free, first-come, first-served lots for the 2008 season.
OTHER SALE INFORMATION
Order Confirmation and Refunds
Orders placed via VirginiaSports.com will receive immediate confirmation. For mail and phone orders, your credit card statement or cancelled check will serve as your confirmation. Should demand exceed supply for any tickets ordered, you will receive timely notification and a refund will be processed for the price of the tickets ordered.
2008 Single and Away Game Tickets
Virginia Athletics Foundation donors and football season ticket holders for 2008 will have the opportunity to purchase additional single game tickets for home and away games in early May before they are made available to the general public. A single game order form and additional information will be mailed to these groups in early May.
Any remaining home games available after the sale to VAF donors and season ticket holders will go on sale August 11. Availability for anticipated high demand games, such as Southern Cal and Clemson, is questionable.
Remaining away game tickets go on sale to the public starting July 14. It is not anticipated that there will be a public sale of the Virginia Tech game.
Single game seating for home games is normally located in those sections where the visiting team has not taken their complete allotment of tickets. While seating requests can be submitted with single home game orders, available locations and the patron’s priority determine the final assignment.
Away game allotments are normally corner and end-zone seats. Donors to the Virginia Athletics Foundation, meeting set deadlines, are seated first, based on their priority points, followed by all others based on a date-received basis.
Garage Parking, Stadium Chair Backs, Media Guide, 2008 Official Fan T-Shirt
The early May mailing to Virginia Athletics Foundation donors and football season ticket holders will include the opportunity for those groups to apply for parking spaces in the Emmet/Ivy garage, Hospital garage, Water Street garage, and Market Street garage as well as order stadium chair backs, a 2008 Virginia football media guide, and the official 2008 fan T-shirt by Nike.
Postseason Tickets
As the Cavaliers approach their sixth win to become bowl eligible during the 2008 season, postseason game ticket information will be sent to all current Virginia Athletics Foundation donors and football season ticket holders. This includes information on both the ACC championship game and a bowl game. Also visit VirginaSports.com throughout the season to obtain the latest information on postseason ticket options.
