Harrison Earns Bid to NCAA Indoor Championships

CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va. – Senior Emily Harrison has received a bid to the 2008 NCAA Track and Field Championships, announced Monday. The championships will be held at the Randal Tyson Track Center on the University of Arkansas Campus in Fayetteville, Ark.

Harrison was selected by the national committee to compete in the 5,000-meter run after winning the event at the Alex Wilson Invitational over the weekend. Her time of 16:16.53 bumped her into 11th place on the national rankings.
