CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va. The Virginia baseball team will now play Stony Brook in a doubleheader beginning at 4 p.m. Tuesday at Davenport Field. The teams were originally scheduled to play at 4 p.m. Tuesday and Wednesday, but the change has been made because of forecasted inclement weather Wednesday.
The first game will be seven innings, followed by a nine-inning game which will start a half hour after the first game.
Tickets for the Wednesday game will be accepted for General Admission seating today. One ticket will gain entry to both games played this afternoon.
Fans with tickets for Wednesday’s game who cannot attend today may exchange their tickets in advance for a General Admission ticket to any other regular season game, subject to availability, by calling the Virginia Athletics Ticket Office at (800) 542-8821 during regular business hours, Monday through Friday, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.. Fans also may bring their ticket stubs to the gate for General Admission seating at any remaining regular season home game, subject to seat availability at the time of arrival.
Tickets are still available and may be purchased at the ticket booth at Davenport Field beginning two hours prior to the first game.
Parking will be available in the University Hall Lot, Cage Lot and Emmet-Ivy Garage.
