CHARLOTTESVILLE – The No. 9 Virginia women’s soccer returns home Sunday to begin a four-game homestand as it hosts No. 14 Boston College. Game time at Klckner Stadium is 1 p.m. (a change from the original schedule) and the match will be broadcast online by ACC Select.

The Cavaliers enter the game with an overall record of 11-2-1 and a 5-1-0 mark in the ACC. Five of those first six conference games were on the road as Virginia set a new school record with four ACC road wins in a season. On Thursday the Cavaliers completed the road portion of their schedule with a 3-2 overtime win at Maryland on Colleen Flanagan’s (Downingtown, Pa.) golden goal.

The Eagles are 9-3-2 overall and 3-2-1 in the ACC. Boston College has not played since a 1-0 win at NC State on Oct. 12.

Sunday’s game is the sixth all-time meeting between the schools, with the Eagles holding a 4-0-1 edge in the series. Since Boston College joined the ACC in 2005, the Eagles have won all three meetings, each by a 1-0 score. Boston College’s 1-0 win over the Cavaliers in 2006 marks the last time Virginia has lost at home, going 17-0-2 at Klckner Stadium since.
