Charlottesville, VA The Virginia men’s golf team will tee it up for the last time this fall at East Tennessee State’s 11th annual Bank of Tennessee Intercollegiate at The Ridges Oct. 24-26.
The 14-team field includes Auburn, Coastal Carolina, Kent State, Mississippi, Missouri, North Carolina, No. 22 NC State, No. 24 Ohio State, No. 14 Tennessee, UAB, Vanderbilt and Wake Forest.
Virginia’s lineup will include Ben Kohles, Kyle Stough, Will Collins, Amory Davis and Conrad Von Borsig. Kohles leads the team with a 71.25 stroke average, Davis is second at 72.13 and Stough is third at 72.25. All three players have led or tied for the team lead in scoring during UVa’s first three tournaments this year.
Last season the Cavaliers were 14th at the tournament. Greg Carlin’s 29th-place finish at 1-over 217 was the top performance by a UVa golfer.
