PHILADELPHIA — The doubles team of Jennifer Stevens (Miami, Fla.) and Emily Fraser (Rye, N.Y.) fell in the doubles final of the 2008 ITA East Regional as play concluded Tuesday at the University of Pennsylvania.
Stevens and Fraser, the No. 8 seed in the draw, lost to Nadine Fahoum and Charleen Haarhoff of Old Dominion, the No. 7 seed, in the final 8-4.
The Cavaliers will have representatives at the 2008 ITA National Indoor Championships, held Nov. 6-9 at the Boar’s Head Sports Club. As the host institution, Virginia will have a wild card in singles and doubles.
