2008 ACC Championship Game and Bowl Game Ticket Ordering Procedures
ACC Championship Game – Dec. 6, 2008 – 1 p.m. – Tampa, FL
The Coastal Division champion will meet the Atlantic Division champion in the 2008 ACC championship game at Raymond James Stadium in Tampa, FL. The champions of each division will be determined upon the conclusion of regular season play Nov. 29.
Current Virginia Athletics Foundation donors and 2008 Virginia football season ticket holders may request tickets to the ACC championship game during the Nov. 10-28 priority period.
Please reserve tickets online at VirginiaSports.com or by calling 800-542-UVA1. Credit card numbers (MasterCard, Visa, American Express and Discover) will be required to reserve tickets. Cards will only be charged once it’s determined Virginia is playing in the ACC championship game.
General public orders will be taken beginning Monday, Dec. 1, should Virginia qualify for the ACC championship game and if tickets remain following the priority request period.
Notification will be sent by e-mail only on Monday, Dec. 1, notifying individuals of the status of their ACC championship ticket orders. Ticket limits will be utilized if demand exceeds supply.

1. Virginia’s invitation to a postseason bowl game is expected to be announced on Sunday, Dec. 7.
2. Bowl game tickets will be available to all individuals online at VirginiaSports.com beginning Sunday night, Dec. 7. Tickets may also be purchased by phone by calling 800-542-UVA1 or in-person through the Virginia Athletics Ticket Office on Monday, Dec. 8, beginning at 9 a.m. The bowl game priority deadline is Wednesday, Dec. 10, at 5 p.m. Virginia Athletics Foundation priority points will be used to determine seating assignments.
3. Notification will be sent by e-mail only on Thursday, Dec. 11, notifying patrons of the status of their bowl ticket orders. Ticket refunds will be processed on all orders not filled if demand exceeds supply.
4. Student tickets will be accepted by logging on to VirginiaSports.com and then accessing ticket sales through the UVASHOTS.com ticket system. The student request period will be from Dec. 8-10. Students that receive tickets must log on to UVASHOTS.com and claim and pay (credit card only) for their tickets on Thursday, Dec. 12 and Friday, Dec. 13. Students may begin picking up their tickets from the Athletics Ticket Office in Bryant Hall beginning Monday, Dec. 15 at 9:00 am.
