FORT WORTH, Texas The Virginia women’s tennis team concluded its four-match road trip with a 6-1 loss to No. 15 TCU Sunday afternoon. The loss drops the Cavaliers’ record to 6-7 on the season

For the second consecutive match, Jennifer Stevens (Miami, Fla.) recorded the Cavaliers’ singles victory. Two days after upsetting No. 19 Taylor Ormand of Baylor, she downed Macall Harkins 6-2, 6-2 at No. 2 singles. In doubles, Virginia got a win at the No. 2 position as Lindsey Pereira (Arlington, Texas) and Maggie Yahner (Las Vegas, Nev.) scored an 8-5 win over Nina Munch-Soegaard and Katariina Tuohimaa.

The Cavaliers return home Saturday as they host No. 12 Miami. Match time at the Snyder Tennis Center is noon.
