CHARLOTTESVILLE – The Virginia women’s tennis team concludes the 2008 regular season this weekend as it hosts a pair of matches at the Snyder Tennis Center. The Cavaliers host North Carolina on Saturday and Duke on Sunday, both starting at 11 a.m.

Virginia (9-10, 5-4 ACC) enter the weekend one win shy of tying the school record for ACC wins in a season. The record was set in 2006 as the Cavaliers posted a 6-5 conference mark.

Prior to Sunday’s regular season finale, Lindsey Pereira (Arlington, Texas), the lone senior on the team, will be honored. Sunday’s match is also a doubleheader with the Cavalier men’s team, which plays Wake Forest at 1 p.m.

Admission to all Virginia tennis matches is free.
