Virginia-Radford Game Cancelled

CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va. The baseball game between No. 13 Virginia and Radford on Wednesday has been cancelled because of poor field conditions and anticipated weather. The game will not be rescheduled.

The teams played three innings Wednesday before a constant rain forced the stoppage of play.

Fans with tickets for this game may: (a) exchange their ticket in advance for a General Admission ticket to any other regular season game by calling the Virginia Athletics Ticket Office at (800) 542-8821 during regular business hours, Monday through Friday, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., or (b) bring their ticket stub to the gate for General Admission seating at any remaining regular season home game, subject to seat availability at the time of arrival.

Virginia returns to action this weekend with a three-game series at Boston College.
