Comcast SportsNet to Air Virginia-SDSU Game Friday

BETHESDA, Md. – Comcast SportsNet announced today it will air Game 1 of the Irvine Regional at the NCAA Division I Baseball Championship tonight live at 7 p.m. The game will feature second-seeded Virginia (43-12-1) against third-seeded San Diego State (40-21). Comcast is Channel 37 in Charlottesville.
The network will also air Game 4 of the regional on Saturday live at 11 p.m. featuring the Game 1 winner vs. the Game 2 winner. On Sunday, May 31, Comcast SportsNet will air Games 5 and 6 live at 7 p.m. and 11 p.m. respectively.
ESPNU also will have live coverage of the Friday game, as well as the entire Irvine Regional.
Virginia is slated to start RHP Robert Morey (2-0, 3.25 ERA) tonight, while San Diego State will counter with RHP Stephen Strasburg (13-0, 1.24), who is one of the top pitching prospects in the nation.
