Virginia To Play D.C. United Reserves and Maryland In Spring Action

CHARLOTTESVILLE – The Virginia men’s soccer team will face the D.C. United reserve squad and the Maryland Terrapins for a tri-match on Sunday (April 10). The contest was originally slated to take place at the RFK Auxiliary Fields but will now be played at the University of Maryland’s Ludwig Field. Admission is free and the action begins at noon.
Virginia and D.C. United kick off the day with a 45-minute match at noon, immediately followed by another 45-minute friendly between D.C. United and Maryland. Virginia and Maryland will then square off at 2 p.m. for another half of play.
Virginia earned its 30th-consecutive berth to the NCAA Tournament in 2010, the longest active streak in the nation, and finished with a 11-6-3 record.
