GREENSBORO, N.C. – The Atlantic Coast Conference announced Friday the Olympic Sport television coverage for the upcoming fall season. Virginia teams will make seven regular-season television appearances, with the chance of additional coverage during ACC tournaments.

The league announced that 38 Olympic Sports events will be televised, the highest-ever in the history of ACC sports and tripling coverage from previous years.

The Virginia men’s soccer team will have four of its eight conference games televised. The Cavaliers’ ACC opener at Duke on Sept. 9 will air nationally on Fox Soccer Channel. Virginia will have two games air regionally on the ACC Regional Sports Network (Comcast SportsNet Mid-Atlantic in Virginia), the Sept. 30 game at Clemson and the Oct. 7 game when the Cavaliers host Maryland. The Oct. 29 home game against Boston College will air online at ESPN3.com. The ESPN family of networks will provide coverage of the semifinals and final of the ACC Tournament.
