2012 Virginia Baseball Season Tickets Go On Sale Tuesday

CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va. – 2012 Virginia baseball season tickets go on sale at 9 a.m. Tuesday (Nov. 1) through the Virginia Athletics Ticket Office. The 36-game home schedule begins Feb. 21 against William and Mary.
Fans can purchase tickets online at VirginiaSports.com or through the Virginia Athletics Ticket Office in Bryant Hall at Scott Stadium. The ticket office is open Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. until 5 p.m. for in-person or telephone purchases. Telephone purchases can be made by calling 1-800-542-UVA1 (8821) or locally at 434-924-UVA1 (8821).
2012 season ticket prices are the same as they were for the 2011 season. The entire grandstand will be reserved seating for the 2012 season. Reserved Seat season tickets are $200 for adults and $175 for youth, seniors, and UVa faculty and staff and initially only available to renewing 2011 season ticket holders. Reserved Bleacher season tickets are $175 for adults and $150 for youth, seniors, and UVa faculty and staff.
Reserved Seat season tickets are only available to 2011 Reserved Seat season ticket holders and those on the wait list at this time. Fans interested in purchasing a Reserved Seat or Reserved Bleacher season ticket may join the Reserved Season Ticket Wait List through the Dec. 9 priority-ordering deadline. Should Reserved season tickets become available for the 2012 season after the priority-ordering deadline, they will be offered to those on the wait list in the following order:
1. Virginia Athletics Foundation donors in priority point order
2. 2012 baseball general admission season ticket holders who are not VAF donors
3. Fans who are not currently VAF donors or season ticket holders
General Admission seating for the 2012 season is available in the first baseline bleachers, the left and right field bleachers, and on the hillside down the left field line. General Admission season tickets are $100 for adults and $75 for youth, seniors, and UVa faculty and staff.
2011 Virginia baseball season ticket holders should expect to receive their electronic application by email on Nov. 1 and a paper application in the mail in mid-November. Fans may renew their 2011 season tickets online by logging into their individual ticket account at VirginiaSports.com/tickets beginning at 9 a.m. on Tuesday, Nov. 1.
A three-month payment plan is available to fans that purchase season tickets by the Dec. 9 priority-ordering deadline.
