Parking Information for UVa's Saturday Athletics Events

Charlottesville, VA – Fans attending any of the athletics contests scheduled for Saturday, Feb. 25 at John Paul Jones Arena, Davenport Field, Klöckner Stadium and The Park should be aware of parking policies for the day due to the overlapping events.

The schedule of events includes:
10 a.m. – 5 p.m. Softball – Cavalier Invitational @ The Park
Noon Men’s Lacrosse vs. Stony Brook @ Klöckner Stadium
1 p.m. Baseball vs. Monmouth @ Davenport Field
4 p.m. Men’s Basketball vs. North Carolina @ John Paul Jones Arena

The parking guidelines for each venue are:

The Park
Parking at The Park and North Grounds will be free on a first-come, first-served basis. The shuttle that operates for men’s basketball games will run on its normal schedule starting at 2:30 p.m.

JPJ Lots and University Hall Lots (South, East and Cage Lots)
Parking in the University Hall lots is free for men’s lacrosse and baseball patrons, but all lots must be vacated by 2:30 p.m. when only vehicles displaying Basketball Parking permits will be allowed in these lots. Any vehicle in the lots after 2:30 p.m. without the proper permit will be subject to ticketing and towing. Fans with the appropriate men’s basketball parking permit can use these lots as early as 10 a.m.

Emmet/Ivy Garage
Parking at The Emmet/Ivy Garage will be free until 2:30 p.m. Vehicles arriving starting at 2:30 p.m. will be charged the normal fee of $5 (cash) for men’s basketball games.

To assist patrons, signage will be placed at the entrance to each parking lot indicating the appropriate vacate times.

Gates will open for the men’s lacrosse and baseball games starting at 11 a.m. Doors will open at JPJA at 2:30 p.m. for the men’s basketball game.
