Huey to Play for Washington Kastles in World Team Tennis

WASHINGTON – Virginia alumnus Treat Huey (Class of 2008) will play four matches this summer for the Washington Kastles in World Team Tennis. Huey, currently ranked No. 40 in the ATP Doubles Rankings, will serve as a substitiute player in late July.
Huey will play for the Kastles during their home match against Philadelphia on July 24 and road matches at New York (July 25), Kansas City (July 27) and Springfield (July 28). The Alexandria, Va., native will replace Kastles’ regular Leander Paes, who will be playing in the Olympic Games for India.
This week, Huey and fellow UVa alum Dominic Inglot (Class of 2009) are playing the Campbell’s Hall of Fame Tennis Championships (ATP 250) in Newport, R.I.
