CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va. – Season tickets for the 2014 Virginia men’s and women’s lacrosse seasons are now on sale. Virginia lacrosse season tickets may be purchased online at VirginiaSports.com, by phone at (800) 542-8821 or in-person at the Virginia Athletics Ticket Office in Bryant Hall at Scott Stadium Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
New for the 2014 season, women’s lacrosse and men’s lacrosse season tickets will be split apart and not offered in combination.Fans may renew season tickets online by logging into their individual ticket account at VirginiaSports.com/tickets.
A men’s lacrosse reserved season ticket is $50. New this season, Section 3, located at midfield in the Klöckner Stadium grandstand, is available as a reserved season ticket. All blue chairback seats were sold out in 2013 as season tickets and are available for renewal only, however fans may request to be placed on the waiting list for blue chairback season tickets. A men’s lacrosse general admission season ticket is $40 for adults and $30 for youth, seniors and UVa faculty and staff.Women’s lacrosse reserved season tickets in the blue chairback seats are $30. Women’s lacrosse general admission season tickets are $25, $20 for youth, seniors, and UVa faculty and staff.
The priority-ordering deadline for reserved season tickets for both men’s and women’s lacrosse is Monday, Dec. 16.
The Virginia women’s lacrosse home schedule includes nine games and kicks off on Saturday, Feb. 15 with a 1 p.m. home game against Loyola. The regular-season runs through April 10 when the Cavaliers will host Boston College in the annual Senior Night game.
The Cavalier women, who advanced to the quarterfinals of the NCAA Tournament in 2013, will have a veteran squad this season featuring nine seniors as well as returning the team’s leading scorer from last season, All-American attacker junior Casey Bocklet.
The dates and times for the Virginia men’s lacrosse team’s seven-game home schedule are still being finalized. The Cavaliers will host Bellarmine, Duke, Johns Hopkins, Loyola, Rutgers, Syracuse and VMI during the 2014 season. The schedule will be released and posted on VirginiaSports.com as soon as possible.
The men’s lacrosse team returns seven starters from last year’s campaign including two-time USILA All-American and a member of the 2013 ACC All-Academic team senior midfielder Rob Emery and two-time USILA All-American senior defenseman Scott McWilliams.
