CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va.—The Virginia volleyball team will hold its annual Orange and Blue Scrimmage, Saturday (Aug. 24) at 6 p.m. at Memorial Gymnasium. Admission to the scrimmage is free to the public.

Fans will have the opportunity to meet the team after the scrimmage and season ticket holders will receive complimentary Domino’s Pizza and Pepsi products.

The team will be holding a free volleyball skills clinic for all children in 8th grade and below, starting at 1 p.m. at Mem Gym. The clinic is free and open to all skill levels. Please RSVP to Chris Birch at cb4sy@virginia.edu if you are interested in attending the clinic.

Game-day parking for volleyball matches is available free of charge at the Culbreth Road Garage, located behind Carr’s Hill Field. Limited parking is available at the Central Grounds Garage (hourly rates apply).

Virginia returns 11 letterwinners and five starters from the 2012 campaign in addition to welcoming a recruiting class ranked No. 12 nationally. UVa will host 16 matches at Memorial Gymnasium, including two tournaments, the Jefferson Cup (Aug. 30-31) and the Cavalier Classic (Sept. 20-21).

The Cavaliers’ home opener is against Marshall on Aug. 30 at 7 p.m. Virginia will host 10 Atlantic Coast Conference games, including contests against new conference members Syracuse (Oct. 11), Notre Dame (Oct. 27) and Pittsburgh (Nov. 29).
