Team Notes
• Virginia is 2-2 all-time against Louisville.
• Virginia is 0-2 all-time against the Cardinals in Louisville.
• Virginia is 1-2 all-time in games played in the “Derby City” (win vs. Vanderbilt in 1898).
• Virginia’s 15-play drive to open the game was the Cavaliers’ first game-opening drive that ended in a touchdown since the William & Mary game on Sept. 19.

Player Notes
• TB Taquan Mizzell finished with nine catches, giving the junior a reception in 31 straight games.
• Mizzell finished with 89 receiving yards, giving the junior 1,063 for his career. He becomes only the fifth Cavaliers to amass over 1,000 career yards in rushing and receiving, joining Terry Kirby, Alvin Pearman, Perry Jones and Frank Quayle.
• Mizzell now has 131 career receptions, placing him No. 6 all-time at Virginia in career receptions.
• Mizzell now has 63 receptions in 2015, tying him with former UVA great Alvin Pearman (2003) for No. 4 all-time in ACC history in running back receptions in a season.
• Mizzell now has 628 receiving yards in 2015, putting him No. 3 all-time in ACC history for receiving yards by a running back.
• Mizzell’s 63 receptions in 2015 ties him for No. 5 at UVA for most in a season.
• WR Canaan Severin finished with eight catches, giving the senior a reception in 22 straight games.
• With 116 receiving yards, Severin records his second career 100-yard receiving game.
• Severin set a new career high with three touchdown passes.
• Severin became the first Cavalier to record three receiving touchdowns in a game since Tyrone Davis in 1994 against Navy.
• Severin’s three receiving touchdowns are tied for the second most for a game in program history.
• With 116 receiving yards, Severin moves to No. 17 on UVA’s all-time receiving list with 1,325 career yards.
• QB Matt Johns threw a career-high four touchdown passes.
• Johns now has 25 career touchdown passes, placing him No. 9 all-time at UVA.
• Johns now has 17 touchdown passes in 2015, placing him No. 11 all-time at UVA for a season.
• Johns threw for 260 yards, pushing his career total to 3,404 passing yards and placing the junior No. 13 all-time at UVA.
