• Virginia’s 90-yard scoring drive in the fourth quarter tied for the second longest of the season and is the second longest Virginia Tech has allowed this season.
• The Cavaliers held Virginia Tech to 71 rushing yards, the second fewest of the season for the Hokies.
• UVA totaled 259 rushing yards, the most rushing yards this season and second game with over 200 yards on the year (Georgia Tech).
• Virginia had its second straight game with an interception.

Player Notes
• With seven receptions in the game, RB Taquan Mizzell finished the season No. 2 all-time in ACC history for receptions by a running back with 75.
• The 75 receptions by Mizzell are the second most by a Cavalier in a season.
• Mizzell broke the ACC record for receiving yards by a running back in a season with 721 total.
• Mizzell’s catch also extended his streak to 33 straight games with a reception.
• Quarterback Matt Johns had a season long rush for 25 yards in the second quarter.
• Johns was the second-leading rusher for the Cavaliers with 58 yards.
• With 171 passing yards, Johns finished the season with 2,810 passing yards, which ranks No. 3 all-time in a season by a Cavalier.
• With one passing touchdown, Johns finishes the season with 20. The 20 passing touchdowns are tied with Aaron Brooks (1997) and Dan Ellis (1999) for No. 4 in the UVA annals for a season.
• Johns now has 28 career touchdown passes, which is tied with Dan Ellis for No. 6 all-time in UVA history.
• Johns now has 3,919 career passing yards, placing him No. 11 all-time in the UVA annals.
• WR Canaan Severin recorded the 100th reception of his career with his first catch of the game in the second quarter. He becomes the 20th Cavalier to reach 100 career receptions.
• Severin concludes his career with 101 catches, which ranks No. 19 all-time in program history.
• Severin finishes his career No. 15 all-time in the UVA record book with 1,371 career receiving yards.
• Severin’s finishes 2015 with 747 receiving yards, which ranks No. 15 all-time in program history for most receiving yards in a season.
• Severin extended his streak of consecutive games with a reception to 24 games.
• PK Ian Frye finished the game with two made field goals, giving the senior 45 for his career and finishing No. 4 all-time in the UVA annals.
• Frye’s eight points gives the senior 218 for his career, placing him No. 7 all-time in program history.
• CB Tim Harris recorded his first interception of the season, second of his career, in the third quarter.
• RB Albert Reid’s 54-yard touchdown run in the third quarter was a career-long rush for a touchdown.
• Reid finished with a career-high 103 rushing yards on nine carries. It is his first game with over 100 rushing yards.
• RB Olamide Zaccheaus had a career-high 10 carries, finishing with 50 yards rushing.
• Quin Blanding had his 12th double-digit tackle game of his career, and third consecutive with 10 tackles.
• Micah Kiser recorded 10 tackles for his second-straight game with double-digit tackles.
• Fr. C.J. Stalker made his first career start at OLB.
