Faith Randolph Sidelined With a Broken Thumb

CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va. – Virginia women’s basketball senior guard Faith Randolph (Derwood, Md.) has a broken right thumb, head coach Joanne Boyle announced Sunday (Jan. 10). Randolph sustained the injury in the fourth quarter of the Thursday, Jan. 7 game against Notre Dame. Recovery time for the injury is anticipated to be approximately six weeks.
Randolph, a second-team All-ACC selection last season and a preseason All-ACC honoree this year, is second on the team in scoring (13.3 points per game) and rebounding (4.3 per game) as well as leading UVA in assists (50).
