RALEIGH, N.C. – No. 1 seed Virginia (27-7) plays No. 9 seed Butler (22-10) in the second round of the NCAA Tournament on Saturday, March 19. Tipoff at PNC Arena (19,700) in Raleigh, N.C., is set for 7:10 p.m.

• No. 1 seed Virginia (27-7) meets No. 9 seed Butler (22-10) for the first time.
• UVA seeks its ninth NCAA Sweet 16 appearance (1981, 1982, 1983, 1984, 1989, 1993, 1995 and 2014).
