CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va. – The Virginia (11-23) softball team returns to action at The Park this week, hosting Radford and No. 9 James Madison in mid-week contests.
The Cavaliers will face Radford (18-10) in a single game on Tuesday at 5 p.m. Virginia will then play James Madison (25-2) in a doubleheader beginning on Wednesday at 4 p.m.

Virginia is coming off a series win on the road at Pittsburgh over the weekend, picking up an 8-5 win in game one against the Panthers and a 4-2 win in game two. It marked the first ACC series win on the road for the Cavaliers since the 2012 season.
Junior Katie Park (Scottsdale, Ariz.) leads the Cavalier offense with a .298 batting average, six home runs and 27 RBI. She is one of five Virginia players with double-digit RBI this season as the Cavaliers have scored 136 runs through 34 games. Junior Madison Labshere (El Cajon, Calif.) is behind her with a .293 average, five home runs and 14 RBI.
Erika Osherow (Darien, Conn.) leads the Cavalier pitching staff with an 8-14 record and a 3.28 ERA. She has 79 strikeouts to only 33 walks through 132.1 innings of work. She has made 20 starts through 28 appearances. Osherow turned in a pair of complete-game performances at Pittsburgh in the series win for the Cavaliers.
Following the mid-week contests at home, Virginia will return to the road in ACC action with a three-game series at Boston College over the weekend.
