Inglot Falls in First Round of Doubles at Rio Olympics

RIO DE JANEIRO, Brazil–Former UVA men’s tennis standout Dominic Inglot made his Olympic debut Saturday (Aug. 6), falling in the first round of the men’s doubles tournament.
Inglot (Class of 2009) and Great Britain teammate Colin Fleming fell to the Mexican duo of Santiago Gonzalez and Miguel Angel Reyes-Varela, 6-3, 6-0.
Inglot is the second Virginia men’s tennis player to compete in the Olympics. Somdev Devvarman (India) played in the 2012 London Games.
