Collins Advances To Finals Of Stillwater Pro Tennis Classic

Stillwater Pro Tennis Classic Singles Draw

STILLWATER, Okla. – Former Virginia women’s tennis player and two-time NCAA singles champion Danielle Collins advanced to the finals of the Stillwater Pro Tennis Classic with a 6-1, 6-3 win over Yulia Beygelzimer on Saturday.

Collins will face fellow American Caroline Dolehide at 1 p.m. ET on Sunday.

Collins advanced with four straight wins to get to Sunday’s final. She defeated Victoria Bosio of Argentina 6-3, 6-2 in the first round before downing seventh-seeded Ellie Halbauer of the United States 7-6 (6), 6-4 in the second round.

A 6-2, 4-6, 6-4 win over Canada’s Aleksandra Wozniak in the quarterfinals pushed Collins into the semifinals where she defeated Beygelzimer of Ukraine on Saturday.
