Head coach Joanne Boyle

On finding way to win
“A lot of credit goes to Richmond. I thought they came out on fire and they just played hard. I felt that we played very complacent, we didn’t move well in the zone and our closeouts were really bad. They were able to get some easy shots off and a lot of second chance points in the first half. I was disappointed. I don’t feel like our effort was there like we had in the first two games, nor was our rebounding and those two things hurt us. You look at this team and the young kids were scoring for us in the first two games, so now it is nice to see balance as Lauren stepped up for us and had a big night. Any given night I think that is what could make us dangerous if we have that effort every night.

On Moses scoring at right times
“There came a point when we just had to pound the ball inside and when she could score she did. I thought she did a good job making some nice passes, that one in particular to J’Kyra (Brown) there towards the end that gave us a bit of a lead. She read the game well tonight and did a good job defensively. Her poise and leadership really helped us down the stretch.”
