Virginia Finishes Action at Tennessee Diving Invitational

KNOXVILLE, Tenn.-The Virginia diving corps finished action at the Tennessee Diving Invitational Thursday (Jan. 5) at the Jones Aquatic Center in Knoxville, Tenn.
On the men’s side, freshman Bryce Shelton (Vienna, Va.) placed sixth on 3-meter with 361.80 points and 10th on platform with a score of 291.70. Freshman Samson Miller (Fairfax, Va.) was 19th on platform with 250.95 points.
On the women’s side, sophomore Kylie Towbin (New Canaan, Conn.) finished 11th on platform with a score of 212.25, while junior Corey Johnson (Ambler, Pa.) was 16th (201.75) and freshman Bailey Mills (Evergreen, Colo.) was 20th (193.65). Towbin also placed 19th on 3-meter with 258.50 points while freshman Sydney Dusel (Naperville, Ill.) was 19th on 1-meter with a score of 245.95 points.
Next up, the entire Virginia swimming and diving program will be in action Jan. 13-14 against Virginia Tech at the Aquatic and Fitness Center in Charlottesville.
