Redding Moves up to Third at Tar Heel Invitational

The Virginia women’s golf team shot 5-under 283 during the second round of play at the Tar Heel Invitational to move up to 11th place after 36 holes of competition. UVA’s two-day total stands at 5-over 581.
Junior Anna Redding (Concord, N.C.) moved up to a tie for third place after shooting 4-under 68. Her 36-hole total stands at 6-under 138.
Freshman Beth Lillie (Fullerton, Calif.) also shot under par for UVA, posting a round of 3-under 69. She moved up to 30th place at even par 144.
Junior Katharine Patrick (Houston, Texas) is in 48th place at 147 after shooting even par 72 on Saturday. Junior Morgan Gonzales (Chandler, Ariz.) is 77th at 153 and sophomore Julia Ford (Shrewsbury, Mass.) is 81st at 154.
Sophomore Kate Harper (Isle of Palm, S.C.), who is competing as an individual, is in 95th place at 164.
