We are still digging out from the holiday backlog of Hoos News from across the web, and so we offer up our apologies on being a better-late-than-never in issuing our congratulations to #UVABase associate head coach Kevin McMullan, who has been voted the top assistant coach in the country heading into the 2018 baseball season. Baseball America announced right before Christmas the results of its annual survey of more than 75 NCAA Division I head coaches with McMullan garnering the top vote tally, his second time earning the honor after also doing so in 2009. He is entering his 15th season on head coach Brian O’Connor’s staff.
