CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va. –
The Virginia (4-2) women’s tennis team returns to action at home on Tuesday afternoon, continuing a five-match home stand with a doubleheader against Charlotte (2-3) and George Mason (3-4). Both matches will be played at the Boar’s Head Sports Club.

Admission to all home Virginia tennis matches is free to the public.

CAVALIERS IN THE RANKINGS
Virginia features a doubles team in the national rankings as the pairing of Rosie Johanson (Abbotsford, British Columbia) and Meghan Kelley (Falmouth, Maine) is ranked No. 14 in the ITA Women’s Doubles rankings. In singles, the Cavaliers also have one player make an appearance with Johanson ranked No. 84 nationally.

A LOOK AT CHARLOTTE
The 49ers enter the Tuesday matchup with a 3-4 record on the season. Charlotte has posted wins over Greensboro, Presbyterian and Gardner-Webb. The four losses came at the hands of Appalachian State, Old Dominion, Charleston and Furman.

A LOOK AT GEORGE MASON
The Patriots enter the midweek matchup with an overall record of 2-3 this season. George Mason has picked up wins over Mt. St. Mary’s (Md.) and Mary Washington. The Patriots dropped matches to Dayton, Duquesne and Richmond.

PARKING LIMITED AT BOAR’S HEAD
Fans are encouraged to arrive early for Friday’s match. Due to a variety of factors, including construction as the facility is expanded, parking will be limited throughout the season.

UP NEXT FOR THE HOOS
Virginia will return to action on Friday afternoon, facing off against Richmond at 3 p.m. It will be part of a doubleheader with the men’s tennis team who plays Mercer at 11 a.m.
