Hoos Got Trophies
Here we go again! This week, it’s a bit of déjà vu with #UVAMTEN alums J.C. Aragone and Thai-Son Kwiatkowski each winning a Futures tournament, a feat they accomplished last week as well. However, this week, Aragone won a singles crown and Kwiatkowski took a doubles championship whereas last week it was Kwiatkowski prevailing in singles and Aragone in doubles. Both were playing in the Kelowna Futures Tournament in British Columbia, Canada, giving the Hoos a sweep of the titles at the tournament.
Family Affair
Former #UVAMTEN All-American Jarmere Jenkins posted this Instagram photo from the All England Lawn Tennis Club. Jenkins is currently at Wimbledon as the hitting partner of Serena Wiliams. Jenkins’ brother, Jermaine, is there as the hitting partner to Venus Williams.
