Hoos Reunion
Former #UVAMBB standout Rick Carlisle, the current head coach of the NBA’s Dallas Mavericks, announced yesterday that former #UVAWBB standout Jenny Boucek will be joining the organization as an assistant to the team’s basketball staff and special projects. Boucek has built a solid basketball reputation and resume over the past two decades, including being an assistant coach with the Seattle Storm when they captured WNBA championships in 2004 and 2010. She was the head coach of the Sacramento Monarchs from 20007-09. Last season, she became just the third woman ever named to an NBA coaching staff when she was hired by the Sacramento Kings.
