CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va. – Virginia volleyball’s trip to the VCU Invitational has been cancelled due to the forecast of severe weather in the region and a state of emergency in Virginia.
The Cavaliers were scheduled to face South Carolina, Toledo and the host Rams over the weekend. There are currently no plans to reschedule the matches.
Virginia volleyball returns to action on Wednesday, Sept. 19, when the Cavaliers open ACC play at defending co-champion Pittsburgh.
