Softball Announces Fall Games
CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va. – Virginia softball has announced its 2018 fall schedule, featuring eight games spread across five dates.
The Cavaliers will host six games in the fall, beginning with a doubleheader against James Madison and Longwood on Sept. 3 at The Park. First pitch against the Dukes is set for 11 a.m. before Virginia plays the Lancers at 4 p.m.
Virginia will also host Liberty on Oct. 12 in a 6 p.m. first pitch at The Park. The final weekend of the fall slate includes a 2 p.m. start against Richard Bland on Saturday, Oct. 20, and a doubleheader against Shippensburg on Sunday, Oct. 21.
Virginia’s lone road date of the fall comes on Oct. 6, as the Cavaliers take on Norfolk State and Roanoke College in Norfolk.
All home games will take place at The Park. Admission is free and open to the public.
