CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va. – The Atlantic Coast Conference field hockey match between No. 10 Virginia (3-3, 1-0 ACC) and No. 1 North Carolina (7-0, 0-0 ACC) originally scheduled for Sept. 14 has been rescheduled. It will now be played on Wednesday, Sept. 26 at 12 p.m. in Chapel Hill, N.C.
The match was postponed from its original time due to potential inclement weather from Hurricane Florence.
The Cavaliers remain on the road this week, playing at No. 9 Boston College on Friday (Sept. 21) and Northeastern on Sunday (Sept. 23). Virginia returns home to host No. 8 Louisville on Saturday, Sept. 29 at 1 p.m. at Turf Field.
