Vive la France

The US Women’s National Team is headed to France! The squad finished up World Cup Qualifying with an emphatic 6-0 victory over Jamaica to earn a spot in the field of the 2019 championship, which begins June 7 in Paris. There are three former #UVAWSOC All-Americans currently playing for the squad: Becky Sauerbrunn, Morgan Brian and Emily Sonnett. When the team clinched its World Cup berth, Twitter exploded with congratulations from professional sports teams and other Team USA’s, because, as the hashtag states, #OneNationOneTeam
