Hoos of Fall League

Former former #UVABase players are currently competing in the Arizona Fall League. Each MLB team sends six of its top prospects to continue play in Arizona after the conclusion of the Minor League season. Two of those Hoos, former teammates Connor Jones and Joe McCarthy, faced one another this weekend. We’ll let Jones’ tweet tell you how that went.

On Friday, Jim Ryan officially became the president of the University of Virginia. The entire weekend was filled with events celebrating the inauguration, including Saturday’s Community Bridges 5K Run/Walk. Members of the #UVATFCC team volunteered at the event. Many current and former Hoos also took part in the run, including #UVATFCC’s Paul Ereng and John Stacey (below).
