Softball Sets Orange and Blue Series

CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va. – Virginia softball will conclude its fall with a three-game Orange and Blue series at The Park.
 
The opening game of the Orange and Blue series is slated for Thursday, Nov. 1 at 4 p.m. Game two of the series will follow on Friday (Nov. 2) afternoon in a 2:45 p.m. first pitch. The series will conclude on Tuesday, Nov. 6 with at 4 p.m. start.

Virginia returns 13 players from the 2018 squad and welcomes 10 freshmen along with graduate transfer Allyson Frei (Branchville, N.J.). Seniors Olivia Gott (Weston, Fla.), Erika Osherow (Darien, Conn.) and Lacy Smith (Lancaster, Pa.) return to highlight the order after each had career-best showings at the plate in 2018.

Admission to the Orange and Blue series is free and open to the public.

Game 1 – Thursday, Nov. 1 – 4 p.m.
Game 2 – Friday, Nov. 2 – 2:45 p.m.
Game 3 – Tuesday, Nov. 6 – 4 p.m.
