Women’s Singles Bracket | Women’s Doubles Consolation Bracket

SURPRISE, Az. –Senior Meghan Kelley (Falmouth, Maine) of the Virginia women’s tennis team saw her run at the Oracle ITA National Fall Championships come to an end on Friday with a three-set match against Evgeniya Levashova of Pepperdine in the Round of 16.

Levashova claimed the three-set battle with Kelley 2-6, 6-2, 6-0. It was the second meeting between the two players this fall as Kelley defeated Levashova earlier this year at the Riviera Women’s All-American.

Despite falling in singles, Kelley and doubles partner Sofia Munera (Pereira, Colombia) are still alive in the consolation doubles bracket after defeating Florida’s McCartney Kessler and Victoria Emma on Friday 4-6, 6-1, 1-0 (7). The Cavalier duo will now face fifth-seeded Nina Khmeltickaia and Janet Koch of Kansas at 1:30 p.m. on Saturday.
