Hoos Got Trophies

Congratulations to #UVATFCC distance runner Johnny Pace for winning the Virginia Run Turkey Trot for the second time in his hometown of Centreville, Va. The senior posted a time of 15:12 to win this year’s competition. He also won the 5k event in 2015 with a time of 16:10. A feature story about Pace and his winning efforts is the cover story of Centreville’s magazine, Centre View.
 

Walter Payton Nominee

In what hardly comes as a surprise, former #UVAFB great Chris Long is the Philadelphia Eagles’ Walter Payton Award nominee. We have spent a lot of time on this blog sharing the wonderful work that Long, the Chris Long Foundation and the Waterboys have done.
