Congratulations to former #UVAMBB player Nigel Johnson who signed a contract to play with the Capital City Go-Go, the Washington Wizard’s G-League affiliate. Johnson announced the signing with an Instagram post  (photo below) captioned “Blessed to be put in a position to sign my first pro contract with the Washington Wizards G League affiliate @capitalcitygogo‼️ Been a while since I said this , but….today is GAMEDAY.” Johnson was on the roster but did not play in last night’s 131-123 victory over Erie. Johnson played one season (2017-18) for the Cavaliers as a grad transfer from Rutgers.
