CSA Rankings

CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va.- The College Squash Association (CSA) released the end of year individual rankings for the 2018-19 season Monday (March 18), listing freshman Emma Jinks (Stratford, Prince Edward Island) as the 21st ranked player nationally.
 
Jinks advanced to the finals at the CSA Individual Championships, where she finished as the runner-up in the Holleran Cup South division. Jinks battled her way into the finals with wins over Sydney Ku (Colby), Lindsay Stanley (Penn) and Emme Leonard (Princeton), respectively, before falling in four games to Vanessa Raj (Trinity) in the title match.
 
Jinks led the Cavaliers during the season, recording a 17-9 overall record which included her performance at the CSA Individual Championships. The freshman played in the team’s No. 1 position in 22 matches, recording a 14-8 record.
 
According to the CSA ranking policies, the results from the 2019 CSA Individual National Championships determine the end-of-season individual rankings. To ensure integrity in the rankings, only the top 32 finishers at Individual Nationals are ranked, unless a waiver for an injury is granted.
