Series Opener Halted, Play to Resume at 9 a.m. Saturday
CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va. – The series opener between Virginia and Notre Dame on Friday (April 19) was suspended in the bottom of the fourth inning with two outs due to inclement weather. The Cavaliers lead the game 6-4.
The suspended game will resume at 9 a.m. on Saturday, April 20. Game two of the series will follow 20 minutes after the conclusion of the suspended game. Game three of the series will then be played approximately 20 minutes after game two.
SATURDAY SCHEDULE
9 a.m. – Game One resumes in bottom of the fourth
Approx. 10:30 a.m. – Game Two
Approx. 12:30 p.m. – Game Three
Saturday is Senior Day for the Cavaliers, who will honor their five seniors following the final game of the day.
Admission to all Virginia softball home games is free in 2019. Due to other events on Grounds, there will not be a live stream of Saturday’s games.
