Women’s Lacrosse Announces 2019 Fall Ball Schedule
CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va. – The Virginia women’s lacrosse team has set its 2019 Fall Ball schedule that features five scrimmages in the month of October.
The schedule includes three home dates and six games against NCAA tournament teams. The Cavaliers host Richmond on Saturday, Oct. 2, to open fall play. UVA hosts Virginia Tech and High Point on Sunday, Oct. 13, in a round-robin tournament and will host Georgetown and Michigan on Sunday, Oct. 20.
Virginia will play at James Madison on Wednesday, Oct. 16, and closes out the fall scrimmages in College Park, Md., for games against Florida, Maryland and Stanford on Saturday, Oct. 26.
The first game will be played at Blue Turf with the last two home scrimmages at Lower Turf. The scrimmages will be open to the public. UVA returns 19 players that saw action a year ago, including two-time All-American Sammy Mueller (Pelham, N.Y.).
