Once a Hoo, Always a Hoo

We have three great alumni stories to share this morning. First up, congratulations to former @UVABaseball standout Mike Cubbage, who will be inducted into the Virginia Sports Hall of Fame in April. Cubbage, who is already a member of our own UVA baseball hall of fame, is one of seven individuals selected for the 2020 class. CBS19’s Damon Dillman shared this piece on former @UVAMensBasketball guard John Crotty, who also happens to be a member of the Orange Bowl committee. Watch the report here.

And finally, under our favorite category of #HoosWithTrophies, congratulations to former @UVAMensTennis player Treat Huey who won a silver medal (and some sort of adorable stuffed creature) in doubles at the Southeast Asian Games, while representing the Phillippines.
