CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va. – It was announced today (Jan. 8) that Virginia wide receiver and kick returner Joe Reed (Charlotte Court House, Va.) has been named the recipient of the 2019 Jet Award presented to the nation’s top return specialist. The award, which originated in 2011, is named in honor of 1972 Heisman Trophy winner Johnny “The Jet” Rodgers.
