CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va. – Junior Vivian Glozman (Bellevue, Wash.) was named the ACC Co-Player of the Week and freshman Natasha Subhash (Fairfax, Va.) was named the ACC Freshman of the Week on Tuesday (Feb. 18) when the league announced its weekly honors.

The duo helped the Cavaliers claim a 4-1 win over No. 12 Michigan on Saturday (Feb. 15) at the Boar’s Head Sports Club. It was the third straight win over Michigan in the series as Virginia now leads the all-time series with the Wolverines 6-2. The Cavaliers are now 4-2 against top-25 opponents, having played six top-25 foes through the first nine matches of the season.

Subhash made quick work of her opponent at the top of the lineup, taking a 6-2, 6-3 victory over No. 35 Giulia Pairone to help the Cavaliers to the victory. It was her 21st singles victory of her freshman campaign and her sixth in the dual season.

Glozman clinched the win for the Cavaliers with a 6-3, 1-6, 6-3 victory over No. 94 Alyvia Jones at the five spot in the lineup and she helped Virginia secure the doubles point for the eighth time in nine matches as she and her partner Rosie Johanson (Vancouver, British Columbia) were the first doubles team in the books with a 6-2 victory on court three.

Virginia returns to action on Friday afternoon, traveling to face No. 17 Georgia Tech in a 4 p.m. match. The Cavaliers then return home to host Clemson at noon on Sunday (Feb. 23).
