The McIntire School of Commerce graduate student shows us around his room on the Range in this Hoos Life video feature

Since being a significant contributor to the team’s 2017 championship trifecta of winning NCAA, ITA and ACC championships, Carl Söderlund has been named the 2019 ACC Men’s Tennis Player of the Year, 2019 ACC Men’s Tennis Scholar-Athlete of the Year, 2019 and 2020 Virginia athletics department’s Male Scholar-Athlete of the Year (only the second Cavalier in the history of the award to twice win the honor), a 2020 ACC Weaver-James-Corrigan Postgraduate Scholarship Award winner and a 2020 CoSIDA Academic All-American.

He also was the first member of the Virginia men’s tennis team to live on the Lawn, which he did last year. This year, as a graduate student at the McIntire School of Commerce, he has moved over to the Range.

One of his favorite parts of living in the middle of Grounds is having people stop by his room and visit, something that he has missed this year, so he has invited everyone over for a virtual visit. Click on the link above as Carl shows you around his home.
