ORLANDO, Fla. –Virginia men’s tennis freshman Jeffrey von der Schulenburg (Zurich, Switzerland) had his run at the 2021 NCAA Men’s Tennis Singles Championship come to an end with a first-round loss on Sunday (May 23) at the USTA National Campus in Orlando, Fla.
No. 5 seed Duarte Vale of Florida topped von der Schulenburg 6-1, 6-0.
Von der Schulenburg finishes his rookie season with a 16-7 record in singles.
